Modelling Muslin 91cm Wide

A great medium weight muslin that's impregnated with a stiffener to allow the fabric to be sprayed with water and moulded around shapes and forms. Hold in place with pins or string. Once dry, prise the muslin carefully from the form and the muslin will keep its new shape. Prior to wetting, Modelling Muslin can be coloured with fabric paints or fabric sprays, colours can be iron fixed. A beautiful way of creating ethereal sculpture and exotic hats.

Can also be used for removing surplus ink from etching plates prior to printing. Breakdown the glues in the muslin by holding a piece either end and pulling it up and down swiftly over the door handle or back of a wooden chair. This will soften the muslin but won't leave fluff on the plate.

The quantity you order corresponds to the number of metres of fabric you will receive. If you wish to order more than one metre, please adjust the quantity to reflect the total number of metres required. Fabric is cut to the length you request; however, in some cases, we may need to supply it in multiple cuts. We will always endeavour to provide your order as a single continuous length wherever possible.
