Specialist Crafts Lead-Free Stoneware Matt Brush On Glazes 1L

Matt finish brush-on stoneware glazes by Specialist Crafts. They are lead-free and require only 2-3 coats to produce matt colours once kiln fired. The glaze results will vary depending on which body clays are used. Darker clay bodies naturally contain higher levels of iron, which influences glazes to fire to deeper/warmer tones. To achieve a more accurate and consistent colour match, especially with lighter glazes we recommend using white clay. Experiment with test tiles before applying to you finished piece. Firing range 1200-1280⁰C. 1 Litre tub.
