A4 Paper Making Press

This paper press is designed to support handmade paper, printmaking and textile processes by helping remove excess moisture evenly and effectively. Ideal for classroom studios and workshop environments, it allows students to achieve flatter, cleaner and more professional finished outcomes.

Simply sandwich pulp or damp work between couching cloths, blotting paper and card sheets before tightening the wing nuts evenly to apply consistent pressure. The press can then be stood on its edge to allow water to drain away during the drying process.

The included blotting paper helps absorb moisture efficiently, while the thick card sheets provide structure and support throughout pressing. The sturdy press construction and simple screw fastening system make it easy for students and teachers to assemble, use and maintain during repeated classroom use.

Each set includes 7 sheets of thick card, 12 sheets of blotting paper, the press and fixing screws. A practical addition for exploring papermaking, printmaking and experimental surface processes across KS3 to higher education.
