BBC micro:bit V2 is a pocket-sized programmable computer designed to make coding, electronics and physical computing accessible through practical, creative projects. Students can programme games, animations, sensors, interactive systems and connected electronic projects using MakeCode Blocks, JavaScript or Python.

The 5 x 5 programmable LED display is joined by two programmable buttons and a touch-sensitive logo. Built-in sensors detect movement, direction, temperature, light and sound, while the onboard microphone and speaker make it possible to create interactive sound projects without adding extra components.

Bluetooth and radio connectivity allow micro:bits to communicate wirelessly with other devices and each other, while the 25-pin edge connector provides access for sensors, motors and a huge range of accessories.
