Geko Printing Press PL250

A cost-effective friction driven printing press for A4 prints only. Use for getting smooth results from lino, relief and etching plates. This model is made from heavy-duty, cast aluminium. The lower roller is operated by a long hand crank. The lower plate bed is an aluminium plate without a wooden base plate to help reduce model weight. Press base can be fixed to a solid desk if required. As with all friction driven presses, we recommend making 2 long, narrow strips of card, the same depth as your artwork plate. Place along both sides of the press bed longest edge and hold in place with masking tape. This allows the press to move back and forth across your print without too much downward pressure or effort. Roller width 250m, top roller 50mm dia, bottom roller 40mm dia. Table width 260mm, table length 500mm. Roller clearance height 45mm. Supplied with felt blanket. 12kg. For A4 printing only.
