Specialist Crafts Artist Pastel Pencils

Specialist Crafts Spectrum Artist Pastel Pencils are artist-quality woodless pencils designed to deliver rich, highly blendable colour for detailed pastel work. With a smooth laydown and generous pigment content, they allow artists and students to build subtle transitions, soft gradients and expressive layers with ease.

The woodless design provides more usable pigment than traditional pastel pencils, making them ideal for both fine detail and broader areas of colour. Blend and soften marks using fingers, paper stumps or tortillons to create depth, texture and tonal variation.

Suitable for use on a variety of surfaces including cartridge paper, sugar paper and specialist pastel papers such as Specialist Crafts Artist Tiziano Pastel Paper, these pencils are perfect for portraiture, still life, landscapes and observational studies. For best results, sharpen with a sharp blade or a metal sharpener and protect finished artwork using a low odour spray fixative.

Available in assorted sets of 12, 24 or 48 colours. Each pencil measures 7.2mm x 175mm.
