White Silk Premium 12mm Habotai

This is a premium white 12mm Habotai 100% silk. Silk thickness is measured in mm (Mommes) to measure the quality of silk fabrics. One momme = 4.340 grams per square meter so this 12mm silk is 52gsm. It is the thickest/heaviest silk we sell. It has a dense weave with a smooth, crisp finish. Can be directly decorated with silk paints and dyes, colours should be fixed and then the silk can be washed. The silk will soften after the first wash. Use for silk painting, shibori and nuno felting. Price is per metre. Width is 114cm.

The quantity you order corresponds to the number of metres of fabric you will receive. If you wish to order more than one metre, please adjust the quantity to reflect the total number of metres required. Fabric is cut to the length you request; however, in some cases, we may need to supply it in multiple cuts. We will always endeavour to provide your order as a single continuous length wherever possible.
