We’re thrilled to announce the winners of our 2025 Specialist Crafts Catalogue Competition, a celebration of creativity, imagination and the incredible talent found in classrooms across the globe.
This year’s competition invited art students to design artwork that captures the joy and power of creativity in education. The response was overwhelming, from bold abstract designs to thoughtful compositions that reflect the world through young artists’ eyes. Every submission reminded us why art education matters so deeply.
After much deliberation, our judging panel selected four outstanding designs to feature across our UK, Ireland, UAE, and International catalogues. Each of our winners will receive a Specialist Crafts gift voucher and see their artwork take pride of place in our new catalogues, a well-deserved moment in the spotlight for these emerging artists.
UK Winner:
Brooke Mason, 16, The Mercian Trust
Mediums: Paint, pens and collage.
A vibrant portrait bursting with rhythm and energy, Brooke Mason’s piece layers bold geometric colour blocks over musical motifs, a joyful fusion of sound and self-expression.

Ireland Winners:
Oria and Liepa Stomaite Palomino, 17, Cork Educate Together Secondary School
Mediums: Lino Print
Together, Oria and Liepa Stomaite Palomino’s prints explore movement and imagination through bold contrasts and surreal storytelling, from a vintage car that seems to soar to a boat carrying a giant fish, their work captures the thrill of adventure and the poetry of the unexpected.

UAE Winner:
Ella Doubleday, 17, GEMS Dubai American Academy
Ella Doubleday’s striking portrait plays with light and shadow to reveal duality, a moment of quiet transformation where beauty, identity, and introspection meet on the edge of a brushstroke.

International Winner:
Ioan Mikael Nedelcu, 6, Avenor College (Romania)
Ioan Mikael Nedelcu’s enchanting painting captures the wonder of childhood imagination, a young dreamer gazes into a swirling galaxy of stars, inviting us to see the universe through eyes full of curiosity and hope.

A huge thank you to every student and teacher who took part, we’re constantly inspired by the dedication of art educators who nurture young creative minds. Your support and encouragement make competitions like this possible.
