Following an incredible response to our 2025 Specialist Crafts Catalogue Competition, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the 30 talented runners-up whose artwork moved, inspired and delighted our judging panel.

This year’s entries reminded us of something powerful: when young people are given the space, materials and encouragement to create, they show us new ways of seeing the world. Each runner-up demonstrated originality, courage and a unique artistic voice.

Art education has faced budget cuts, shrinking timetables and squeezed resources for far too long - yet every submission showed the unwavering determination of art teachers who refuse to give up on creativity. To every educator who shared this competition with their students: thank you
