Pebeo Setacolor Opaque Fabric Paint

Pébéo Setacolor Opaque Fabric Paint is a water-based textile paint designed to produce rich, opaque colour with a matt finish on both light and dark fabrics. It can be used on a wide range of prewashed textiles including cotton, wool, jersey, velvet, polyester, fibre blends and non-wovens.

Apply the paint with a brush for freehand designs or explore techniques including stencilling, stamping and screen printing. The colours can be used straight from the bottle or diluted with water for more transparent, watercolour-style effects, making the range suitable for everything from detailed textile artwork to customised bags, clothing and accessories.

Once the design is dry, fix the colour by ironing the reverse of the fabric for 5 minutes on the cotton setting with the steam switched off. Once fixed, the colours are machine washable.

Choose from 250ml bottles in best-selling colours for regular classroom use or a starter set of 10 x 45ml assorted colours for experimenting with the range.

How to Use

1. Prewash the fabric before decorating.

2. Stir the paint well before use.

3. Apply using your chosen textile technique.

4. Allow the finished design to dry.

5. Iron the reverse for 5 minutes on the cotton setting with the steam switched off.

6. Once fixed, the finished fabric can be machine washed.
